Celebrate the Fourth with the KSO!
Event Details
Bring your family and a lawn chair or blanket and hear the Knoxville Symphony play a FREE concert of patriotic tunes with a spectacular fireworks finale this Fourth of July at the performance lawn at World's Fair Park.
Knoxville Symphony Orchestra Music Director Aram Demirjian conducts the Orchestra patriotic favorites from Copland, Sousa, and John Williams. The program includes musical tributes from "Saving Private Ryan" in honor of the 75th anniversary of D-Day, and selections from the score of Apollo 13 in tribute to the 50th anniversary of the 1969 Moon landing.
This concert is FREE to attend; no tickets are required.
The Festival on the Fourth begins at 4 p.m. and the Knoxville Symphony Orchestra's free concert begins at 8:00 p.m. on the performance lawn (and will be live streamed on WBIR-TV Channel 10.)
Presented with support from Pilot Flying J and in conjunction with the City of Knoxville Special Events and WBIR Channel 10, the KSO is excited to return to the lawn on World's Fair Park for this exciting concert. Use hashtags #KSOJuly4 and #Knox4thFest to engage on social media!
