Misaki opened in January 1994 as one of the first sushi and hibachi dining experiences in East Tennessee. Driven by 3 generations of culinary heritage, Masamori Sawa became a renowned chef from his experience at a prestigious hotel in Japan with a concentration on French and Asian cuisine.

With years of experience and guidance from his father and grandfather, Masamori Sawa was determined to bring the rare and authentic sushi experience fused with the entertainment of hibachi dining to Tennessee. His inspirations have created the highest quality interpretations of classic dishes while composing combinations of some of the best grades of steaks and seafoods in the surrounding area.

Misaki offers a unique high-energy culinary entertainment experience with multiple atmospheres that includes Hibachi Grills with personal chefs, a Japanese Sushi Bar, and a Bar & Lounge.
