Rocky Branch Bluegrass

Rocky Branch Community Club, Inc., is located in the former Rocky Branch Elementary School a school founded in the mid-1800s. When the school was closed by the county in 1996, the club was formed in an effort to save the aging facility from falling into disrepair. Today, the school's former classrooms are filled every Friday night as musicians come from miles around to play and sing genuine bluegrass and mountain music. Any musician is invited to participate but only acoustic, stringed instruments are permitted.
