We are 2 miles from the Tail of the Dragon (voted the number 1 road in the US to ride). Happy Valley Chalet is the closest place to stay to the Tail of the Dragon.
Happy Valley Chalet is a beautiful 2 story house with 2 fireplaces and a 6 person outside hot tub. We have a screened in porch as well as a large open deck overlooking a winding mountain stream. We have 2 bedrooms upstairs; 1 with a king bed, 1 with 2 queen beds, a futon and a sleeper sofa that makes into a double bed. Down stairs has a bedroom with a queen size bed, 2 twin beds and a queen size sleeper sofa. The house has a gourmet kitchen, internet, satellite TV, foosball table and DVD player. There is an outside fire pit. All of this is on 35 acres of tranquility. There are several walking trails on the property. There is a one car garage or you can fit 6-8 motorcycles in the garage. A beautiful mountain lake is 1 mile away. There is also a charcoal barbecue available.
The price per night includes 14.25% tax. The per night price also includes a cleaning fee. You will need to bring your food and beverages because the closest large grocery store is approximately 17 miles away in Maryville.
