Description
We are in Townsend, Tennessee, which is one of the entrances to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the nearest entrance to historic Cades Cove. Townsend is defined in character and beauty by the Little River, which meanders through the quaint town called "The Peaceful Side of the Smokies." The river provides a great place to cool of in the summer, with swimming, tubing, kayaking, as well as the great trout fishing that the area is known for. Pioneer Cabins and Guest Farm is easy to access as we are at the base of Little Mountain with a mountain view of both the Smoky Mountains and the Foothills. While only one half mile from the main road through Townsend, you will feel you have gone to the country when you reach our farm.
