Sevierville, Tennesee is located in Sevier County and was founded in 1795 and was incorporated in 1901. Sevierville is a town that is flocked with high mountains and rivers. Sevierville is basically what the whole county is called but there are other smaller towns that around Sevierville and are an integral part of Sevierville itself. Sevierville is also on major interstates that run through eastern Tennesee. US Route 441 and Interstate 40 flow through the town and is part of your travels towards the cities of Knoxville and the other cities that are in this part of the country. Another big attraction of Sevierville is it being the birthplace of Country Music Hall of Famer and legend, Dolly Parton. Parton is famous for her theme park, Dollywood, which is by far the biggest attraction to Sevierville and Sevier County. The park features amusment rides but also has a Dolly Parton Museum which features mountain homes that were so abundant in times long ago.
